Partner’s Perspective

Hamid takes the long-view approach to multifamily brokerage in which the client’s needs and interests are prioritized above his own. His demeanor can simply be described as both even keel and assertive, engaging clients on a level that instills comfort and the necessary empowerment to make sound business decisions. Preparation for each assignment and Hamid’s forward thinking ability, combined with an unmatched sense of humor and evident problem solving skills consistently produce outsized results and repeat business.

Client loyalty for Hamid is noteworthy. He demonstrates an underlying humility, one that is both endearing and contagious. With a thoughtful approach to the investment sales business that transcends the boundaries of a single transaction and taps into the human element of relationships, Hamid is a brokerage professional that evokes action by influence, with a low-profile approach and center of gravity that demands attention to clients’ objectives over self-service.

Professional Experience

Hamid began his career at Marcus & Millichap in 2004 by succeeding Cliff under the firm’s Sales Internship Program. After a move to Tucson in 2005, Hamid was recognized as Marcus & Millichap’s Top First Year Agent for the firm’s Arizona offices. Although Hamid had quickly established a strong market share position, he had a deep desire to recruit and develop talent which led him to join the management team in 2011 by assuming the Sales Manager position of Marcus & Millichap’s Los Angeles office. Shortly thereafter, Hamid was promoted to Regional Manager of the firm’s Seattle office. While serving as Regional Manager, Hamid was responsible for the oversight, recruiting, hiring, training, development, deployment, support, retention, and direction of 30+ real estate investment professionals and finance originators covering the state of Washington. As Regional Manager, Hamid was able to rejuvenate a stunted office and re-establish a strong presence for the firm in Seattle. During Hamid’s tenure, the Seattle office increased revenue by 30%, and gained quantifiable market share in the apartment and retail sectors within Washington’s Tri-Counties.

With a desire to return home to Arizona and resume multifamily brokerage, Hamid began discussing with Cliff and Steve their shared vision for expanding the group’s multifamily investment advisory services to include Tucson, and the secondary and tertiary apartment markets throughout the southwestern United States. In June 2013, Hamid moved from Seattle to join David-Gebing, with a newfound passion and energy to further the group’s established practice of unparalleled multifamily disposition services throughout Arizona.
